The Ministry of Education approved the admission of 400 students for the '1992 academic year.

Dr. Jong-Kyu Ham was inaugurated as first President. The first entrance ceremony was held.

Dr. Sok-Woo Lee was inaugurated as the second President.

5 more departments(International Relations, Rehabilitation Therapy, Materials science Engineering, Food and Biotechnology, and Interior Design) and Evening Classes(Japanese, Chinese, Computer Science, Environmental Science) were established with a quota of 350 students.

The Graduate School and the Graduate School of Information and Industry were established.

Seven more departments(Creative Writing, Journalism and Communication, Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Technological Visual Art and Athletics and Personal Security) and Evening Classes(English Language and Literature,Public Adminstration, International Trade) were established with a quota of 370 students.

The Graduate School of education was established.

The first graduation ceremony was held. Bachelors' Degrees was conferred on 207 graduating students.

Entrance Ceremony for 1308 new students in 33 departments was held. Dr. Ki-Joo Kim was inaugurated as the third President.

The Graduate School of Arts was established.

Six departments(Adolescent Studies, Civil Engineering, Computer Communication, Directing for Film and Television, Conservation for Culture, and Nursing) were established with a quota of 210 students.

The seventh entrance ceremony for 1612 new students in 41 departments was held.
Dr. Ki Joo Kim was reappointed as the fourth President.

The Department of Medical Ultrasonics was established with a quota of 40 students.

The fourth graduation ceremony was held. Bachelors' Degrees were conferred on 536 students and Masters' Degrees were conferred on 32 students.

The Department of Children's Art Education Studies was established with a quota of 30 students. An additional quota of 20 students was assigned to the Department of Multimedia Music.

Four departments(Flight Operation with a quota of 30 students, Air Transportation and Aviation Administration with a quota of 40 students, Orthotics and Prosthetics with a quota of 40 students, Music with a quota of 30 students, Security and Secretarial Services extended to an additional quota of 10 students) were established.

The construction of General Aviation Education Center at Tae An Air Field was complete.

Three academic disciplines were evaluated by the Korean Council of University Education. The area of Mechanical Engineering was acknowledged as excellent. The areas of Journalism and Biological Science were acknowledged.

The twelfth graduation ceremony was held. Bachelor Degrees were conferred on 1327 students, Master Degrees were conferred on 71 students, Doctoral Degrees were conferred on 2 students and one Honorary Doctoral Degree was conferred.

The sixteenth entrance ceremony for 1946 students in 52 departments and 132 students in the graduate school was held.

The University was evaluated by the Korean Council of University Education. The section of education and social service was acknowledged as the most excellent. The sections of developmental strategies and educational support system were acknowledged as excellent.
