  Department of Interior Design
 

Interior design deals with the human need for spaces, physical environmental and functional conditions, and human's artistic and emotional desires for interior spaces; at the same time, it is to plan and design safe, convenient, comfortable, and efficient spaces. Therefore, the Interior Design Department emphasizes on teaching how to create spaces and atmospheres which will help enhance the quality of living in this rapidly globalizing 21st century where information is quickly specifically, the Department will focus on teaching and learning plans and constructions for various spaces such as residential, commercial, office, exhibitional and specially used spaces, through theories and case studies. Also the students are supposed to acquire and practice the abilities and skills as total designers through a variety of learning systems such as cooperation with the industry; When they complete the courses, they as good designers, are expected to contribute to the design industry from interior design and computer design to furniture, lighting, stage and display design.
   
  Department of Industrial Design
  We realize that quality design today, combined with current technology, makes our lives richer and more convenient. It also contributes to the nation's economic and industrial development. The Department of Industrial Design aims to produce well rounded designers for our future society through theories and creativity.
   
  Department of Motion Graphics
  This is now the age of the visual image whereby much of audio visual communication comes to life by means of film and video. These media have the power to influence not only the construction of society and environment, but also the culture of every country in the world. Many established industries rely on the use of film and video media. However, this technically advanced age has also produced various new industries that require up-to-date and current expertise in the field. Based on this evident reality, the Department of Motion Graphics has been designed to educate and produce progressive filmmakers who can utilize various expression techniques, both creative and systematic, in artificial and technical areas. The graduates therefore are able to contribute valuable expertise in industries such as animation, live action film, video television broadcasting, and the fields concerned with multimedia.
   
  Department of Fashion Design
  The aim of the Department of Fashion Design is to produce professionals in the fashion field equipped with comprehensive expertise in fashion knowledge and skills required in today's high-tech society. To lead the fashion field, which is one of the high value industries of the 21st century, students study overall theories and skills of fashion design to enhance their esthetic sense and creativity. Field studies heighten the professional and practical knowledge for future fashion experts in the areas of marketing, and ever changing design and pattems.
   
  Department of Directing for Film and Television
  Today, the age of multi media, there are various roles for film arts in the new millennium. In accordance with this tendency film arts not only adopt high-tech methods of expression, but also reflect the values of industry, culture and society in association with new developing mass media. The Department of Directing for film and Television equips students with appropriate specialties in the areas of film production, commercial circulation, cultural exchange, and social influence. The curriculum of the Department is divided into the two parts: movie and television. The first part produces staff for the film industry including planning directors, producers, film directors, camera directors and film editors. The second part trains future producers, VTR camera directors and VTR editors. In addition, the Department produces many sound and recording directors for both sectors and critics and sereen writers through theoretical research of all mass media, directors of commercial advertisements and music videos, which requires training in both film and VTR.
   
  Department of Multimedia Music
  Modern art has become increasingly specialized and unique and can be considered a multi-faceted business which is leading humanitarian life and artistic desire in modern society. This department aims at producing experts who can efficiently manage art related fields. We provide an education of basic comprehensive art as well as practical training in art management. In addition, our studies focus on the management of art, preservation.
   
  Department of Conservation for Culture Heritage
  The goal of the Department of Music is to transform students into musicians and musical leaders with progressive thinking and expertise which the 21 century demands. At present, two majors in voice and piano performance are opened to students who will become artists society need. In the near future, majors in orchestral instruments will opened to students, And HANSEO University will educate them as artists with discipline with creative ability, and with technical and theoretical background.
   
  Department of Children's Art Education
  Among many fields of fine art, there has not existed a solid base for the field of fine art for children even though it is very important in the stages of human development. The Department of Children's Art Education aims to create a professional workforce who can offer an all around education and detect in an early age the talents for future outstanding artists through specialized education in fine art for children. For this, the Department utilize the related disciplines of child psychology and childhood education to establish systematic theories for fine art for children. The Department also aim to develop and research new and various practical programs in order to provide creative and able professionals, researchers, and educators in fine art for children. Graduates from this program can look forward to working in kindergartens, elementary schools, art studios, and special art programs.
