The Department of Physical Therapy covers a comprehensive range of studies essential to recovery. Those include study of the physical, psychological, social, occupational, and economic impact of being physically challenged. In modern society, there is an increasing need for primary care. The Department has been established in order to meet the needs of the physically challenged and bring experts into these areas.

   
  Department of Occupational Therapy
  Occupational therapy is a health profession that helps people regain, develop, and build skills important for independent functioning, health, well-being, security, and happiness. Occupational therapy practitioners work with people of all ages who, because of illness, injury, or developmental or psychological impairment, need specialized assistance in learning skills to enable them to lead independent, productive, and satisfying lives.
   
  Department of Radiology
  The Department of Radiology has been established as a university course for the first time in Korea to teach such areas of radiological technology as radiation diagnostic techniques and therapeutics, radiation control and measurement, ultrasonography, CT, MRI, PET, nuclear medicine, NDT etc. In particular the Department focuses on ultrasonography, and has as its object the education of professional radiography technologists with expert knowledge for handing advanced medical instruments in order to treat diseases within the of field modern medical services.
   
  Department of Orthotics and Prosthetics
  The history of prosthetics and orthotics begins with humankind's spiritual and functional need for wholeness. Its historical development parallels that of medical science, culture, and civilization itself. Nowadays, disabled persons seek rehabilitation. Concepts that may have originally been impractical have become possible with developments in materials and technology. The need of society in the field in 2000. The Department of prosthetics and orthotics in Hanso University is the first four-year bachelor's degree program in Korea. The objective of the department is produce competent prosthetists and orthotists who have specialized knowledge and practical skills in the field. Didactic, laboratory, and clinical instruction prepare the to function as an entry-level practitioner upon graduation form this program.
   
  Department of Health Management
  There has been a great change in managing our health. Now we have gone back to using natural remedies and beyond medicine, instead of using the pills and chemical medicines which had become considered as 'common sense' to use. In order to meet this trend actively and to accordingly develop skill in health care we are asked to promote the new methods of health care in our daily lives by bringing these new methodologies to the curriculum of our Health Department. By doing this, we are setting a new and lively health education patter with the other health departments in our university.
   
  The Department of Cosmetology
  The Department of Cosmetology endeavors to educate students systematically on the basis of theory of health and beauty to meet the people's desire to improve themselves in this area. This Department covers a balanced curriculum of theoretical and practical courses including the basic theory of hair dressing, make-up theory and practicum, physiological anatomy, dermatology, public health, and nutrition and applied fields such as foot-care, aromatheraphy, nail-art, and special make-up techniques.
   
  The Department of Dental Hygiene
  Department of dental hygiene strive to educate systematically the knowledge and skill of dental hygiene for general and specialty dental practice, programs for dental hygiene research, professional education, community health, and hospital and institutional care of disabled persons, as well as competent person for oral health promotion in a people. Dental hygienist is a licensed primary healthcare professional, oral health educator, and clinician who provides preventive, educational and therapeutic services supporting total health for the control of oral diseases and the promotion of oral health.
   
  The Department of Nursing
