Mission Statement

The mission of the Flight Operations department is to become a world leader in pilot education and to produce pilots who are recognized and highly regarded throughout the world.

Program Educational Goals

1. To produce professional pilots who have the knowledge, skillset, and creative capability to meet the rapidly developing aviation industry and adapt to changes in its operating environment.
2. To produce graduates who meet the requirements for certification as a Commercial Pilot with an instrument rating, and multiengine rating or flight instructor.
3. To instill and foster the need for lifelong learning through exposure to innovative aviation practices and leading-edge technology in aircraft design and artificial intelligence.
4. To broaden the graduate’s scope for understanding and appreciation of the aviation industry.
5. To broaden the graduate’s scope for understanding and appreciation of the liberal arts and humanities, environmental sciences, and global issues.
